In this Vanicream facial moisturizer SPF 30 sunscreen lotion review, I find a decently performing sunscreen lotion. Thank you Ai Ni for the sample!
Before we get to this review, I did want to mention that this is my 100th sunscreen review. When I first started testing sunscreen, never did I imagine I would have tested more than 50 sunscreen, let alone more than 100! However, what I find the most amazing isn’t the numerical value of “100,” but rather, the number of people who have participated in the process by submitting samples, sending encouraging emails, and sharing the site to others. That number is more impressive to me. It’s always a surprising and humbling experience when I am introduced to friends of friends and one of the first things they say is, “So you’re the sunscreen tester!?” I guess being a nerd is kind of cool at this age, especially when it involves skin care. Ok, enough blabber, on to the results!
The Vanicream facial moisturizer SPF 30 sunscreen lotion is a mineral sunscreen formulation using the active ingredients of Zinc Oxide at 19.5%.
The Vanicream facial moisturizer SPF 30 sunscreen lotion reduced 88.92% of UVA, 81.90% UVB, and 88.52% of total UVI. These are results that I believe fall in the range for a SPF 30 sunscreen.
