Quick Summary:
Date Tested: 07/15/2022
I’ve come to like this Supergoop! brand. It has a fun name (in my opinion) and the last product I tested had great results so it was only natural that I entered into this test with high hopes. This particular Supergoop formulation is a chemical based sunscreen which contains Avobenzone 3%, Octisalate 5%, and Octocrylene, 10% as its active ingredients. As per the Supergoop website description, It has a little glow action added to it:
Wear on its own, or layer under makeup as a primer to give skin a naturally supple, lit-from-within look.
-Supergoop!
As much as I like the brand however, the product typically carries a hefty price tag which I tend to stay away from. Despite this, the Glowscreen SPF 40 did perform exceptionally. The Supergoop! Glowscreen reduced UVI by 99.30%, UVA by 99.38%, and UVB by 98.00%

Prepared slide ready for testing
The Glowscreen lotion disperses nicely enough and the glow bits are a little every-which-way (as to be expected). The glow bits don’t really matter since its purely aesthetic however.
Below are the results from 2 hours of testing in my UV testing station.

Testing notes:
Very very strong protection but at a high price. Mind you however, this formulation has glow. It seeks to make you look radiant – like you have an inner glow, from within. This formula “creates a dewy, glowy base without any visible glitz or glitter.” I wonder also if the marketing team at Supergoop! decided they couldn’t really capitalize on the amazing advice Trump offered concerning Covid.
And then I said: Supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way, and I think you said you’re going to test that too. Sounds interesting.
-Donald Trump
Either way, Glow.
