Quick Summary:

Date Tested: 7/29/2024

In this Anessa Perfect UV Sunscreen skincare milk SPF 50+ PA++++ sunscreen lotion review, I find a sunscreen lotion which feels more like a liquid than a lotion, but boy does it protect! Thank you to Bryce for the sample (he also mentions that he tans much less using this sunscreen during his biking runs compared to the Biore UV products!).

The Shiseido Anessa Perfect UV Sunscreen skincare milk SPF 50+ PA++++ sunscreen lotion is a hybrid sunscreen formulation using the active ingredients of Zinc Oxide (10.35%), Octocrylene (5%), Ethylhexyl Salicylate (4.9%), Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate (1.8%), Homosalate (1%), Ethylhexyl Triazone (0.8%), Polysilicone-15 (0.5%), and Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine (0.5%).

The results from testing the Anessa Perfect UV Sunscreen skincare milk SPF 50+ sunscreen show that this milk-like formula reduced UVA by 99.73%, filtered UVB by 98.68%, and blocked total UVI by 99.67%. Fantastic results given that this lotion is very light and liquid in consistency!

Testing notes:

So true story, while writing this post I went to go check the bottle label and it turns out my girls (10 and 12 years old), used practically the entire contents. For what? I have no idea, but yeah. They seem to like it as well. Anyyyyyways, this sunscreen kind of blows my mind. Its achieves a great feat of high UV filtering protection while being a liquid consistency. Granted, its got a ton of non-FDA approved chemical filters so there’s that trade-off.

Recommended!
