Nigel: “Is that so? And what evidence has led you to this conclusion?”
Chad: “So let me tell you, I’ve been using that fancy roach pussy stuff on my face and I think it worked because last night, when we got drinks, that chick said I was one of the hottest men she’s ever met.”
Nigel (raises an eyebrow): “Roach pussy stuff? Chad, I haven’t any clue to what you are referring to.”
Chad (upbeat and excited): “So yeah, I think she thought I was smart too, she called me a Neanderthal and said I had a low brow humor…I’m pretty sure thinks I’m like one of those guys on Downton Abbey, with those low brow tall hats and all”
Nigel: “I am not quite sure what to think of that Chad, but good for you. Really.”

Nigel: “Chad, what in heavens name are you referring to?”

In this La Roche Posay Toleriane Double Repair Daily Face Moisturizer SPF 30 review, I test the roach pu, I mean the La Roche Posay daily moisturizer which includes chemical filters which provide an SPF 30 degree of sun protection. Interestingly, this formulation is as strong as an SPF 40-50 sunscreen, despite being marketed primarily as a daily facial moisturizer.
The La Roche Posay Toleriane Moisturizer SPF 30 is a chemical (organic) based formula which contains Avobenzone (3%), Homosalate (5%), Octisalate (5%), and Octocrylene (7%).
Despite being marketed primarily as a moisturizer, the La Roche Posay Toleriane reduced UVI by 95.56%, filtered UVA by 95.76%, and blocked UVB by 92.82%. An SPF 30?? More like an SPF 45-50!

The La Roche Posay Toleriane looked great despite a few air bubbles (which shouldn’t affect real world use). It spread nicely, had good coverage, and seemed to be a great consistency for a daily facial moisturizer.

Yes, the intro to this sunscreen review was a departure from my norm. Ridiculous really. But what can I say, a daily facial moisturizer rated at an SPF 30 which protects as well as an SPF 40-50!? That too is also a departure from the norm. So yes please. Give me some of that…La Roche Posay!
