Quick Summary:

Date Tested: 7/26/2023

In this Banana Boat Sport Mineral High Endurance vs Sweat SPF 50 sunscreen lotion review, I find solid UV filtering sunscreen lotion which checks all the boxes for a strong recommendation.

The Banana Boat Sport Mineral High Endurance vs Sweat SPF 50 is a mineral based (physical) formulation which incorporates Titanium Dioxide at 4.5%, and Zinc Oxide at 6.5% concentration. Our dear reader Christi (and sunscreen submitter) posed the question if this lotion could potentially be identical in formulation to the Banana Boat Kids Mineral Lotion SPF 50. After some comparison, I do believe this is true considering the identical testing results of the two (accounting for slight environment variable testing differences), coupled with both having a lower viscosity, and appearing pretty much identical on the prepared slide sample. Talk about slick marketing eh? **This also speaks volumes about the consistency and accuracy of the sunscreentester.com testing machine me thinks toot toot!

Testing the Banana Boat Sport Mineral High Endurance vs Sweat SPF 50 returned great results, with the formulation filtering UVA by 97.80%, blocking UVB by 94.69%, and cutting total UVI by 97.64%. Fantastic performance.

Testing notes:

Identical in formulation to the Kids Sport mineral version, this sunscreen lotion provides good protection from the suns harmful UVA and UVB irradiance. Being a bit thinner in viscosity, I would recommend reapplying regularly, especially when used in wet and active environments.

Definitely Recommended.
