In this Wonderscreen Tinted SPF 30 sunscreen lotion review, I test another tinted mineral based sunscreen which happens to perform very well!
The formulation of this specific sunscreen is a mineral based (inorganic) lotion which incorporates 19% Zinc Oxide. It isn’t the highest I have ever seen (by %) but it provides strikingly good protection, despite the runny viscosity. I was actually pretty surprised by the positive testing results, which shows that you cant just judge a book by its cover in the world of sunscreen.
Testing the Wonderscreen Tinted SPF 30 showed that the formulation cut UVA by 95.73%, blocked UVB by 91.35%, and reduced total UVI by 95.48%. For a mineral sunscreen using only 19% ZO content by percentage, this lotion performed quite well.

Prepared slide ready for testing
The Wonderscreen Tinted SPF30 has a runny/thin viscosity but decent distribution of the physical UV blockers despite appearing otherwise on the prepared slide sample.
You can see where the magnetic vice pressure area (in the center of the slide) has left a thin layer of the sunscreen which didn’t bode well for testing. However, looks can be deceiving and the test results speak for themselves.

Testing notes:
While not available on Amazon and a relatively unknown (to me) company, I found this product to test quite well. Being that the formulation is a bit runny, it probably feels pretty good on application to the skin. It is tinted, so that may be a draw for some. Overall I do recommend this product due to the decent performance.
